We are a 4-piece band from Dublin, Ireland. We play all kinds of stuff from general rock music to metal, to soft acoustic rock to funk, a fair bit of the spectrum. The members of our band are:
Chris - Rhythm Guitar
Cormac - Mad Bass
Darragh - Lead Guitar/backup vocals
Denis - Drummer/vocalsBand/artist history

Well it all started back in 2004 when a guy from school, colum asked darragh over to his gaff to jam. When Darragh arrived at Colum's house, he found another person from his year, Denis was already there. Originally denis played drums and Colum played guitar. This line-up changed to Colum on drums, Darragh on guitar, and denis on vocals. Shortly after, Chris was recruited on guitar. Denis was then dropped many times for some reason and Cormac was recruited on bass.
Due to problems, both band-related and personal, this line-up could not continue. Eventually in the summer of 2004, the line-up now known as the tonix had a few practices and realised that we were really onto something. In September 2004 we found a proper practice space and have been going strong since. Due to upcoming state exams, the band has taken a back seat but when they are over we will put more focus on it. Watch this space...Have you performed in front of an audience?At the moment we are restricted to the amount of gigs we play because we have exams coming up in June, but after that we will play more gigs. We have a slot secured on a monthly concert called "Blast" though and we have our first one coming up soon so fingers crossed that our music goes down well.
