the Time Being
Thanks to all the soundclick fans. It's great to have a group of fans who are musicians themselves and always ready to encourage everyone who is practicing hard to get and give the most from their music. Kayehl and the Time Being is the name I am using for me and my recording studio. From time to time guest collaborators will appear on my tunes.Band/artist history
I took piano lessons when I was little. I sang in the children's choir at church, then the youth choir. I started to major in music composition in college, but finished a broadcasting degree instead. I played drums in a Christian band in college, and played drums and keyboards in several church praise teams.
After arranging some hymns and carols for my church orchestra, I wanted to get more involved in music, so I got some music software for my computer and started writing and recording songs.Have you performed in front of an audience? Not currently. I have about 10 years experience playing live drums and keyboards in various bands.

K - Listening to your growth from Lullaby to Leaf to Soundscape is very impressive. your compositions become both more complex aand more subtle. Great work.
MarkI don't see version 10.........hmm.
Anyway, listened to version 9 and thought it was quite original. Way to create your own sound man! :-)Your Em symphonic bits sound pretty good. The brass has an authentic sound, particularly the French horn; strings sound good. And the composition sounds like classical, albeit contemporary. Good job.
MarkKevin, I listened to Lullaby v10. What a difference from v9! I heard a couple of sour notes by the guitarist, and a couple of timing problems with the way the lead fit into the song. Good work with the arrangement.
