Band/artist history
Like Rose Tattoo fronted by Pauline Murray, The Rezillos without the sci-fi fixation, or the Ramones with Johnny Thunders on guitar and Beki Bondage on vocals. And that's just the bands beginning with 'R' that we sound like. Kind of. This is just the start. Belt up, hold on tight, enjoy the ride. We are. With the 'ashtrays are full' demise of Brighton band Mr Green Vendetta, Kags, Ledge & Pilkenstein decided on a bit of a change - more guitar, more power, and some of those 'dynamics' thingies that other bands talk about. There was only one choice for the bass player slot, but sadly Lemmy was 'busy' so we asked Brett, our favourite plank-spanker and recently 'ex' Brightons' own shorn-Motorheadbangers 'Slaughterhouse 57'. The initial rehearsal was multo productive, interrupted only by one Ged Asbery (erstwhile mainman of Best Left Dead) turning up to deliver some stuff to the studio, having a 'jam' on 'one song', and ending up staying!
