Welcome to The Star Diaries page!
Stay awhile and give a listen to my music. The songs you hear here were written and performed by Jeff Fitzgerald, with able assistance from guitarist Dean Marino from Toronto-based rock group Knacker. Deans beautiful, searing electric guitar work arcs like bolts of electric energy through Jeffs rhythmic pulsations, strumming acoustic guitars, swirling keyboards, and lush, haunting soundscapes to create a colourful, psychedelic, space rock journey; a treat for the ears and the mind!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
The Star Diaries work has so far been primarily studio oriented.
Your musical influences
Pink Floyd (primarily pre-DSOTM era), early Tangerine Dream, Ash Ra Tempel, Harmonium, Hawkwind, Ozric Tentacles
What equipment do you use?
Jeff Fitzgerald - acoustic guitar, electric guitar, keyboards and synthesizers, assorted percussion, harmonium, ektara, vocals
Dean Marino - electric guitar (lead), acoustic guitar, bass, assorted percussion, ghopi chand, backing vocals
Anything else?
The songs here are some of the tracks off "Summers in Andromeda", the forthcoming debut CD by The Star Diaries. Some free downloads will be available very soon!

A tapestry of sorts. I like bending genres like matchsticks.

Good headphone tripping!
Very good stuff! I love One Summer In Andromeda. The vocals kinda remind me of Julian Cope!
I love the Middle Eastern feel to Mind of Ptah! I have added you to my station. Amazing music!!
Cyndee, electric violin
I see my friend Shimon has been here--tells me I'm in the right spot! And then I listened to "Nameless Sun," and knew I was right. Good job!

really interesting trip groves... harmonies are quite tight, and the keys are an excellent addition.
