The Sinai Experience is a project of the Karasick Shalem Sinai High School for Boys in Teaneck, NJ. Led by guitar teacher Alex Remer and drum teacher Yehudah Block, the band consists of student band members and teachers. We are a Jewish band that strives on our musicianship and ability to experiment within existing music forms. Our styles range from Classic Rock to Blues to Jewish music. Take a listen. We record our songs in a single take with no overdubs or fixing. The music is all drums and guitars. There are no synthesizers. The songs have a rawness that is refreshing in today's music scene.

Have you performed in front of an audience?
We played live for our parents at our Purim party in March 2005. It was a blast and nerve racking because some of our students had never performed live. It was really nice watching the gutarists and drummers meshing and playing as one. This year we played our first concert on Chanukah December 2005 at The Kosher Experience in Teaneck, NJ. It was amazing and the performances were much more focused and exciting.
What equipment do you use?
We use electric guitars, electric bass and acoustic drums.
