of 2002. Guitarist Michael Berman Grutzky and singer Gabriel von Malmborg started the
band because they felt Sweden needed
quality rock music. After a long search Anders S.Paulsen (drums) and Daniel Hult (bass)completed the vision of a groovy hardrocking
band with a modern sound. The Showguns goal is to make quality rock music with interesting lyrics and catchy melodies. We also want to establish ourselves as a spectacular liveact.

The Showguns started out in the summer
of 2002. Michael Berman Grutzky and Gabriel von Malmborg had been in a couple of bands together. Soon becoming quite talented in the craft of songwriting. They then felt the need of a tight rythm section to bare their higher ambition. They soon found drummer Anders S.Paulsen who not only were a very talented drummer, but also provided the band a rehearsal room in central Stockholm. After trying out several bassplayers they found Daniel Hult, who also have a good musical education. The band started doing gigs at the local clubs, and recorded their selftitled demo The Showguns containing three hard rocking hits. The band is currently looking for management and a recording contract.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, we play live as much as possible. Usually at different clubs in the Stockholm area.
Your musical influences
70's hardrock mainly: AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy. But also more contemporary acts like Metallica, Audioslave, Queens of the Stoneage etc.
