The Seven Ate Nines are a 3 piece band from West Chester, OH. They play their own unique variation of Punk Rock, what makes it unique is that they have 'talent.' The band includes Greg Schilling on guitar and vocals, Adam Schmidt on bass and backup vocals, and Bryan Dukes on drums. The band was originally formed back in early 2003 when it was just Greg and Adam. They aquired Bryan at about mid to late 2004. During their time, they've gone through several name changes from Adam Kan't Play Bass, to Anathema, to awesomeXcore, to Strawberry Phosphate, and they stuck with the name Volition for a while, but have now decided on sticking with the name The Seven Ate Nines.
We play live as often as we can, which isn't very often due ot the lacking of a local music scene. We do enjoy playing live, we try to be as energetic as we can without losing any of the musical quality.
The influences in our music differ from the individual in the, and even the song being played. But the overall influences would be bands like Green Day, Against Me!, 311, Sublime, Explosions in the Sky
