For the past five years The River have been carving their own niche in the doom metal world, finally coming of age with last year's 3rd demo 'Oneiric Dirges in Mono'. The band's blend of bleak harmonies, seriously heavy riffing and enchanting female vocals has won them plaudits from both fans and critics alike.
An album will be recorded in March 2006.
