D. Prince (born Daniel Blacktin on January 2, 1993) started rapping at the age of eleven when his friend from middle school started. D. Prince decided if his friend could pursue his dream then he could too. D. Prince recorded his first song at the age of fourteen. He constantly practiced with his music hoping one day to be heard. Soon he would be discovered by Kasland, rapper, recording artist, and founder of Post Oak Records; after numerous collaborations between the two, D. Prince was finally signed to Post Oak Records. D. Prince had released two projects - The Time is Now & Waking The Dream EP, all while producing tracks for various artists. Shortly after the release of his EP, D. Prince proved himself in the battle arena winning many competition. D. Prince is currently working on a mixtape, Intervention 2 which can be downloaded for free when it is released.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes. I've played everywhere from casinos to independent venues in the CA & NV area.
