The members of the Otherside began playing music together in the summer of 2003. After the break-up of Saint Johns Band, Curtis Burnash, Deric La Fuenta, and Morgan Burnash continued to play music together. They later recruited David Torre to perform guitar. The band started doing shows and working on new material right away. They've been working towards a sound of their own. Trying to grasp the best of the blues, jazz, rock, folk, and classical music that they enjoy listning to, th Otherside finds a new spot in the world of music. Trying to appeal to people of all age and genre, they are powerful and inviting, while at the same time, mellow and surreal. Each member of the band has their own unique relationship with music.
