Picture for song '15 - Devious Dad' by artist 'The Not Very Good Interval Band'

15 - Devious Dad 15 - Devious Dad

Track 15 from the 'Dingus' album. Also a top one to play live, a bit rock/punk with a more of a melodic chorus. My dad doesn't know I wrote this one. Shhhh.

14 - The Slippy Slidey Downward Thing About Societ 14 - The Slippy Slidey Downward Thing About Societ

Track 14 from 'Dingus' album. This is a great rocking number. Slightly satyrical, satriycle, no, I can't even spell it. It's just plain silly.

13 - She's Foreign 13 - She's Foreign

Track 13 from the 'Dingus' album. Features a snippet from Spooky Peanut, that classic track from Bendysisterasparagushead, we harrass and confuse a poor foreign girl into revealing things about her musical tastes that really should be left hidden.

Picture for song '12 - Mr. Fruitseller' by artist 'The Not Very Good Interval Band'

12 - Mr. Fruitseller 12 - Mr. Fruitseller

Track 12 from the 'Dingus' album. This is a pure guitar ballad epic and one of my favourites to perform live (or dead). Jangly guitar and poignant lyrics, you just gotta feel for those fruit.

Picture for song '11 - Semolina' by artist 'The Not Very Good Interval Band'

11 - Semolina 11 - Semolina

Track 11 from 'It's Dingus Time'. This is almost Euro-pop traditional folk music. If you like Europe, or pop or Semolina. Give it a go. Gina don't Like Semolina for her diiiiner though. Sorry Gina.

Welcome to the Not very Good Interval Band. We don't aspire to anything much, but here is a little of what we do have. For extra stuff/history/news and malarkey check out www.nvgib.com itself and there are also tunes from the 3rd album "Peru: Spoonraker" on www.download.com as well. Top nonny.
Band/artist history
Well, you'd best go to www.nvgib.com for this as there is too much to repeat in one box.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We don't often play live at the moment. Most recent gigs were in Cambridge University for the release of our third album "Peru: Spoonraker". Most special moment was playing at the Bradford University "Bands on the Beck" in 1995 in front of more people than I can count and being louder than we have ever been before or since.
Your musical influences
The Cardiacs, Iron Maiden, Level 42, any Comedy Music.
What equipment do you use?
Yamaha QY10, Roland XP50, Griff on iPAQ 2750, Cubase on laptop, Palm bay custom guitar, strong coffee, eggy bread snacks.
Anything else?
Band members include: - Mr Lemur: guitar, keyboards, programming and bacon-chin - Mr Mongoose: vocals, bass and flannel dancing - Mr Satsuma: vocals, MIDI brick, jumpsuit, happy smile and kneepads - Mr Wombat: guitar, vocals, keyboards and gas mask/lipstick - Mr Mushroom: was never in the band
