The Mushroom Man
Zeal Kingdom (Acoustic) Zeal Kingdom (Acoustic)
This is a cover of Zeal Kingdom from the SNES game Chrono Trigger originally composed by Yasunori Mitsuda, performed on solo acoustic guitar. I've always seen this as a really easy going, like new-age meets 60's acid-rock or something. Then again, wh
Corel Prison (Acoustic) Corel Prison (Acoustic)
This is a cover of Corel Prison on solo acoustic guitar. This is a much better quality than the previous release of this same song.
Sonic 2 Final Boss Part 1 Sonic 2 Final Boss Part 1
So I got this idea of turning this song into a jazz theme, followed by two other renditions of the same song. Well, I never got to the other two. From Sonic the Hedgehog 2, composed by Masato Nakamura.
Ushiwaka Ushiwaka
This is a cover of Ushiwaka's Theme and Ushiwaka's Appearance from the game Okami, composed by Hiroshi Yamagushi. This is essentially the same melody repeated over and over again in as many ways as possible. Artwork by SuicuneFrost from DeviantArt.
Fort Dragonia Fort Dragonia
Also known as Ancient Dragon's Stronghold, this is was originally composed by Yasunori Mitsuda for the game Chrono Cross. This composition mixes a dark ambient style with a hard-to-follow jazz-like verse.
Garden of the Gods Garden of the Gods
This was composed by Yasunori Mitsuda for the game Chrono Cross. What was originally a choir-driven composition is transferred to guitar attempting the same mellow ambience, with some extras like the ebow thrown in for good measure.
The ending of What's This Ocean.. (Live Recording) The ending of What's This Ocean.. (Live Recording)
This is a live recording of the finale to 'What's This Ocean You Speak Of,' using a guitar technique I've recently been experimenting with to develop live material. The original ending was about 2:30, this is 17 minutes long. Do the math.
A Common Fantasy A Common Fantasy
One of my most experimental compositions. Uses many different styles to surface the narrative and recurring themes. Hope you like it.
I Like Girls... but The Guitar Stays Around Longer I Like Girls... but The Guitar Stays Around Longer
This one's a little different, but nice, and very powerful. The song does some experimenting every now and then. Song title and main riff created by Zach Gibson.
Afterlife (Instrumental) Afterlife (Instrumental)
I hit a new record, 8 minutes. This song is another epic-like song, similar to My Flower, and has some pretty fast and heavy moments, with a softer side that's slowly revealed as you progress.
The Wonderful Star's Walk is Wonderful The Wonderful Star's Walk is Wonderful
This is a cover of Yuri Misumi's song, Walking on a Star, from the game Katamari Damacy *Now with acoustic guitar and better drums* This is an experimental-sounding song, with beautiful softer moments accompanied with faster, weirder sections.
Just a Little Bit More (Instrumental) Just a Little Bit More (Instrumental)
No vocals yet. This song takes from a variety of styles, but is defined more by its melodies. My first song in a major key.
One Thing in Mind (Instrumental) One Thing in Mind (Instrumental)
No vocals yet. This song follow a very classic rock kind of style, starting out as a sort of ballad and speeding up in the second half (bet you didn't see that coming).
My Flower My Flower
Finally, the song I've been waiting for, a song that's too sweet in the beginning, too morbid in the middle, and too depressing at the end, so it pisses off everyone! Enjoy.
As Heaven Falls (Instrumental) As Heaven Falls (Instrumental)
This song is a little different than my latest, and I use a voice simulator on some of the guitars (and one of them does a solo). It's somewhat repetitive (atleast the verse is), so it's somewhat lacking without vocals.
Faith Faith
This is a cover of Hiroshi Iuchi's song, Faith, from Level 3 of the game Ikaruga. This is an epic song with a heavy edge to it.
Castle Theme Castle Theme
This is a cover of Koji Kondo's song, Castle Theme, from the game Super Mario World. It's a dark, heavy, and more accurate redo of a very old cover I did.
Tal Tal Mountains Tal Tal Mountains
This is a cover of Minako Hamano, Kozuo Ishikawa, and Kazumi Totaka's song, Tal Tal Mountains, from the game The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. This is a variation of the original Zelda theme, and I arranged it in my classic soft to heavy style.
Psycho Mantis Psycho Mantis
This is a cover of Norihiko Hibino's song, Psycho Mantis, from Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. This is a very dark song with a nice beat and loaded with effects.
Brinstar Red Soil Brinstar Red Soil
This is a cover of Kenji Yamamoto's song, Brinstar Red Soil, from Super Metroid. The piano was so out of tune I would cringe listening to it, so I replaced it with a guitar. The song itself is a very soft, relaxing, and soothing kind of song.
