Boston, MA natives Case Feva and Mick Mode, a.k.a. The Model Pilots, left the confines of their home for the cultural hodgepodge that is Los Angeles, CA. The brothers created their musical venture nearly a decade ago and rocked the hell out of audiences in venues such as Bills Bar, Mat Murphys and Tabu. After nine years, they realized they needed to reach out to a more diverse and open-minded audience and so, travelled west.
TMPs debut album Fly is a ten-track testament to the awesomeness that is Fashion Rock. The album was written, recorded and produced within a month on a limited budget and sounds infinitely superior to many professional recordings from major label artists. It can only be described as a midnight loft party mix of Electro, Rock and Dance. Imagine the guys from Cut Copy accidentally walking into an orgy between Fischerspooner, Queen and The Used on a music stage and youve got the right idea.
Mode plays drums, guitars, piano and vocals while Feva handles lead vocals, bass, guitar, mandolin and ukulele. Their live act is currently stripped down with Mode on drums and Feva as the frontman but the duo are currently looking to fill up the empty spots with Stage Pilots. Then again, its not as if their already intense live show needs any more chutzpah.
Entertainment is everything, says Feva, and being as theatrical as possible is everything Freddy would have wanted.Have you performed in front of an audience?Originally all over the state of Massachusetts. We are in LA now making our way up the "food chain".
