The result of an electronic music workshop I ran for the kids at the school where I was teaching at the time - exams were coming up and I wanted to remind them all of what was expected of them!

Skyscape In Orange Skyscape In Orange

A track to chill to - washes of everchanging sound lie behind the hypnotic main theme. I've been told it sounds a little like early Tangerine Dream stuff, but I deny any influence there only ever having heard a couple of their tracks - something I mu

Borg! Borg!

The second in the Final Frontier series inspired by Star Trek Next Generation. Written in 1998 (or at least that's the date on the MIDI file).

Electronica

Hi there! I'm The Minotaur - composer of sundry classically oriented stuff.
Band/artist history
I've been composing stuff since I was 18 - most of it for teaching purposes, but some specifically with performance in mind.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes - Every Sunday at the church where I am Director of Music, I do quite a bit of cocktail piano work, and I also play keys with an AOR band.
Your musical influences
Musical influences! Hmm! JS Bach, Olivier Messiaen, John Tavener and Benjamin Britten amongst many others
What equipment do you use?
I do most of my writing with Finale. I then transfer to Sonar 3 for tracking - I have 3 Yamaha XG sound modules and a Roland JV1010 which collectively take the strain of my creations!
Anything else?
Not really - If I think of something I'll let you know!
