Toronto pop/rock band THE MASONS, whose singer appeared on The Boomtang Boys gold-selling album, Greatest Hits Vol.1, has released its sophomore album, Brick And Mortar, preceded by the funky crush of the first single, Kiss n Tell which was added at more than 20 Canadian AC radio stations, and played on the American television show "Side Order of Life" (Warner/Lifetime, 08/26/2007). They have also been #1 (July-Sept 2007) on the pop chart at Indiecharts.com, and #1 and #2 on the ichannelmusic.com chart with 'Kiss 'n Tell' and 'Crumble' respectively (Dec 2007), and have just had several of their songs played on the dating show called 'Next' on MTV (US).

Hey guys - sounds really great, but I have a couple of suggestions:
1) I'd suggest that you ought to consider doing something with the bass in the verse, for example throw in an A-flat or tiny bit of groove / variation - it gets a bit monotonous, and may also as a side effect lift the chorus, cos you'd get a bigger impact of flattening the bass out for just the chorus.
2) I'd shorten the pre-chorus/bridge, so it kicks in where the cymbals otherwise come in on top of the guitar.
Keep it up :-)
