The Lykes of Wytch
An 'Invisible Band' project.
A favourite early Pink Floyd song by Syd Barrett. I've taken the original as a 'template' and enhanced it with my own psychedelic 'flourishes' in the spirit of the era it was recorded in. Bless you Syd. I hope you enjoy what I've done with your song

This is a Major Snagg / Big Sleep 'side project', to create and record mostly high power psychedelic type of material (covers and originals). . . Full Tilt Psychedelia . Just as XTC briefly became The Dukes of Stratosfear, so have Tony and myself become The Lykes of Wytch . . . but probably only briefly . . . well maybe not !
A little side project for just one CD's worth of music . . . or maybe more ? I play all the instruments and Tony writes the lyrics (apart from any covers that we decide to do), sings them and assists in the recording and production!
No, I used to in a former life ! I prefer the comfort of my little studio;-
'David's multi-coloured psychedelic music workshop'.
for this project:- The Beatles, The Pretty Things, etc. . . British Whimsical Psychedelia and other bands who dabbled in this genre
Guitars, Basses, Keyboards . . . real instruments recorded in 'real-time'. BUT . . out of necessesity the 'Drums' are mainly programmed from my now pretty ancient Zoom RT123 drum machine or else put together from any realistic 'drum samples' that I happen to come across.
Don't know but keep watching this space . . . it seems that I was born a decade too late :)
