Trip Hop

No one sounds like us and everyone likes the way we sound. Somewhere between trip-hop and folk music (don't you just adore Joni Mitchell?. The point of us is that every album we do is different. It's all pop and accessable (for the most part), but no one sounds like us and everyone likes the way we sound. A pop album with hardcore porn samples? An electronic folk album about Pataskala, Ohio? Everyone likes us and no one knows why. They will ask, but we shan't answer. Closed lips build spaceships.
Band/artist history
the libra similar is one person.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We will play where they gather in our name. Anywhere that has an electrical outlet. We like it. We love and live for it. We make every moment special, because everyone likes specialness.
Your musical influences
Trip-hop maybe? We'd love to sing like Jeff Buckley and sound like Aphex Twin, but it ends up closer to Burt Bacharach arranging songs for Portishead (with more irregular time signatures) for a lead singer that is the child of Bjork and that guy from Love.
What equipment do you use?
Oh! I bet you'd like to know! Generally, four samplers (DR-202's) midi-connected to a sequencer and some stray guitars and synths. NO COMPUTERS.
Anything else?
In the end, it's just pop music, really. Interesting electronic pop, but pop all the same.
