Band/artist history
I've been playing instruments since third grade, which is over 25 years ago now. I've played in bands since '92. Sublimation (www.sonicwisdom.org) is my most successful band venture to date. We had a lot of fun and made 2 albums of tracks that I still think are ahead of their time. Thanks, once again, to the mastermind of the band, Spesimen, and some super-solid bass playing from Rahl. I don't know when I started doing solo stuff. I mean, I've been writing songs since I was fifteen but I don't know when I actually thought to myself that I would be doing this for the rest of my life. I know that shortly after I got that thought, though, I bought Spesimen's old 4-track and started putting down multi-track recordings and that's when stuff started falling into place. The acoustic stuff you'll hear on my SoundClick mp3 page was committed to hard disk @ Infocalypse with Spesimen at the controls. It's all really raw and sparse. I hope that the lyrics and melodies speak for themselves without a hell of a lot of posting. That was the desired effect so if that's how it hits you then we've done our job. I'm currently writing, performing, sequencing, engineering and producing a pair of EPs. It's kind of a Jeckyll and Hyde project in its concept. One EP is all acoustic arrangements - very sparse and mellow - stuff that I could do a coffeehouse tour with. The other EP is a return to space rock.

Your musical influences
Top Ten: Screaming Trees, QOTSA, Mos Def, NIN, Spesimen, Sublimation, Loop, Sheila Chandra, De La Soul, Stevie Wonder My influences are all over the place, though. I wish I had the balls to have founded Tenacious D, but those guys are way out of my league just in terms of talent alone, not to mention sheer guts. I listen to the D and I just laugh 'til I cry. There's a bit of the D in Jiggle07.
What equipment do you use?
I don't want anyone running jack moves on my gear. Just know that I have a setup that works for me.
Anything else?
For all indy artists out there: Keep doing what you do. It's great if you can make a living making great music, but making great music should always be the main focus. The times will eventually catch up with your visionary style and you'll get the props you deserve.
