Erotitron Erotitron

Spoken-word project originally released before we decided on the name for this band project. Vocals: Jon H-R Synthesizer/Sequencing: DRKRN (DJ Dorriker)

Experimental

A collaborative project with disasterous results. Heavily electronic, grungy and glitchy. The Jesus Ultrasound, despite it's name, does not play Christian music, nor is its music particularly anti-Christian. In fact, it has nothing to do with religion at all. We just make noise.
Band/artist history
One day I was reading some stuff on the internet and I came across this thing on Comic book writter, Warren Ellis' blog about how somewhere there was this ultrasound sonogram this lady got that had what appears to be the classical picture of Jesus in it. Ellis then mentioned at the bottom of the post: "The Jesus Ultrasound has GOT to be a band name!" I couldn't agree anymore. Upon telling a friend about this, we came to the conclusion that we so have to make a band. So low and behold, we did.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
No, we do this just for fun.
Your musical influences
Fischerspooner, LCD Soundsystem, Tycho, Efterklang, Orgy, The Postal Service
What equipment do you use?
My computer and some sequencing software. Some cheap-o microphones. Weird homemade instruments that are not necessarily conventional instruments by any means. (like pieces of metal and blocks of wood for percussion sampling, electric sitars, carbine-powered flutes, anything else weird and almost impractical.)
