The (re)birth of the cool is nothing to scoff at, my dear links. Just who's responsible for this final push, bringing the three (3) S's--soul, style & simplicity--back into the music world? Three (3) distinctive personalities not afraid to wear their influences on their sleeves. Not afraid to dress smart-- if it SUITS them. Not afraid to challenge conventional music. Not afraid to write the three (3) minute pop song. For they will rule the (air) waves & waive the rules, as they see fit. Understand, my kidlets, that this unit is concerned with the BIG PICTURE. A singular sound from a mixture of (musical & stylistic) sources. In this case, mathematics has it all wrong: 1 + 1 + 1 does NOT equal 3. 1 + 1 + 1 = 1. So dig this, my kiddiwinks. When (and only when) espresso, steamed milk & froth are combined just so--do all three (3) parts create the perfect cup of CAPPUCCINO. Playing live is brilliant. There is an energy that you just can't replicate anywhere but ON STAGE...an electricity.
