The Groove were a five piece progressive rock ensemble hailing from Quebec City, Canada. The band consisted of Andre Bourget on guitars, Bob Benson on six-string bass, Stephane Lacerte on drums & percussion, Guy Cardinal on keyboards and Danny Deane on lead vocals.
The band grew extremely popular in the Quebec / Maritimes club scene from its inception with founding members Stephane Lacerte and Andre Bourget in 1991 to its demise in late 1994.
Before disbanding in December 1994, the band recorded a 4 -song demo of original material with the incomparable Danny Deane on vocals. The recording quality is very good for a demo of that era, and the raw energy and uncommon musicianship of this band was definitely captured.
This is melodic "pedal-to-the-floor" progressive type hard rock. Fasten your seat belts....Have you performed in front of an audience?We used to...a lot!

Aerophobia...Wow what a tight ass groove you got going there. Love the sound of the drums and the bass, that's killer and the guitars compressed to shred almost, awsome, the organ player is he real or what? Wow!! What a solo!!! Loved this piece guys, killer.
