F.U.P. MOB
“F.U. PAYME”
The five members of the F.U.P. Mob span from far and wide, but all share the same adorationsthey all love music and money. Comprised of the Milwaukee-born Reality and 15-year-old Marcedes, Miami’s own Bad Luck, as well as Alabama natives Drakkari Black, Die Verse and Big X, the F.U.P. MOB, which originated from the motto "F*ck you, pay me" is trying to do just that, get paid! So it's fitting that they would be lead by a born hustler in independent rap veteran, Reality. A former drug dealer and record store owner as a teenager in Milwaukee, Reality moved south to Atlanta almost a decade ago to begin his career as an MC. It was in rap music's hustle-capitol that he began to learn the art of the independent grind, coming in contact with legends such as Too Short, Ice-T and the late Eazy-E. After dropping an indie LP "Federal Indictment" ('98) to minimal response, quitting rap to acquire his Real Estate license in Miami and then returning to his favorite past time, Reality has come full circle now having found a group he feels can meet the art and hustle balance demanded to achieve in the rap game. "I'm confident with the group of people we brought together," says Reality. "Everyone who is a part of this group has their head on straight. Plus every member brings a little something different to the table."
Aside from Reality's been-there-done-that O.G. persona, there's the slick-tongued Bad Luck ("People just love me...my voice, my swagger...), the high-grade lyricist Big X ("Some of rap's biggest names know me and don't even know I can rhyme so nice. They just f*ck with me"), 14-year-old Marcedes ("Being the youngest dont mean nothing, I gotta pay dues in this group") to the group's mutil-talented in-house producer, Drakkari, ("There is no other producer with a sound like mine"). Femme Fatal Q Dangerous is responsible for meshing beautiful melodies with the group's raw street talk. F.U.P. is truly a group like no other. "We're trying to crush whatever competition is out there," says Reality. "Our goal is to grab that number one spot. We're in a class by ourselves."
