For Richard Austin aka the Firestarter,Music has always been a part of my life. Since I was a kid that’s all I knew. Rhythm, dancing, and beating on tables to make a beat. That was the closest thing to creating music I could get to as a kid. I was an active kid. Started playing baseball at the age of 3, played basketball at the age of 5. I even bowled when I was 7. Even though I did all these activities I still had a strong feeling for music. See I was different from the majority of my friends. I have a mother and a father in my household, always have. So I always had and will always have a strong support system. At the age of 14 a friend of mine introduced me to a commonly used program called “Fruity Loops”(A Program to create music). It didn’t take me long to learn how to make music on this program. I started of a little slow but within time I became really good and that’s when it all began. From there I linked up with my god brother Monty Thompson aka Mont-Dig and I started making beats for him and the group he is still in till this day that consisted of two more people. J-Dolla and B-Dot. “Kilatainment”! Later on they added a new member named Young Cheeks. I have produced tracks like “Bang Bang”, “Shoot That N***A”, “I’m so gone”, “You F****D Up”, and many more. At the same time I have met and have did work with Steve King aka Dj Mr. King, the best dj! He is like a brother I never had. Later down the road I met up with Richard Boone aka Mr. Perfect. And we made beats together as a group. Not knowing that we were really good and people have been paying attention to us. Then a little bit later we joined Marcus Massey into the group and that’s how we became High Deaf-A-Nition. We are now trying to make a name for ourselves. We have expanded our works from Akron to California. Also we reached to Texas and Cleveland. And we plan to make our music well known all over! We are trying to make a change, not just become rich. WE WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
