If you care to hear new MP3s, please visit . Thanks. :) My band is really not a band at all. It's me. Alone. I started playing music when I was about 10 years old. I am now 18 years of age. I'm very passionate about the music I write, and I write it for many reasons. Throughout history, there have been many different reasons for songwriters/composers to write their music. I write mine for all of them. Self-gratification, satisfaction of others, creativity and ingenuity, you name it. If you like my music, awesome. I will be honored. If not, no big deal. Simply move on. Not everyone has the same taste. But if you do in fact find my music pleasurable, I strongly urge you to pass it on to as many potential listeners as possible. Burn it, email it, whatever means necessary. My greatest enjoyment comes when other people can understand, listen to, and appreciate what I do. Music is a beautiful thing...
Band/artist history
It's very long and drawn out. Basically the story is this. I started in a cover band called Nature's Calling. We were about 15. We played bars and local gigs around Connecticut, and had some fun. Then I got serious and formed an original band called 3/4 of a Hero. It went through many lineup changes. 3/4 of a Hero was together for about a year. We played around Connecticut a ton, venues like Empress Ballroom and Sullivan's Hall, and also my first out of state show in Gloversville, NY which I will never forget. 3/4 of a Hero broke up, and I had some acoustic material written. I decided to throw all the songs together and call the project The Farewell Address. After a few months of being solo, and playing successful shows around the area, I joined two bands. One band, Feed My sheep, was a cliche high school local band that played brand new covers and unoriginal originals hahah. Our fun moment was opening for Flogging Molly to a nearly sold out Webster Theater show. That was a high time indeed. Also simultaneously I hooked back up with 2 members from 3/4 of a Hero and a new guy. They wanted a lead singer, and asked if I'd like to try out. That was The Tunka Mighty, my last band. The Tunka Mighty was an incredible experience, and there are many times with them I will never forget. We road tripped to Jersey, and played around the Connecticut area extensively. Energetic shows is what we were about. Nate, John, and Pete wrote some of the catchiest, most original indie rock music I've ever heard. I still find myself listening to our recordings for enjoyment. Due to difference in aspirations, and after a long stretch of being together, I parted ways. The Tunka Mighty was my most memorable time, not only because of the shows we played and friends we made along the way, but also the good times we had. The late nights staying out till 3am demolishing garbage cans, and igniting beautiful arrays of fireworks on peoples' doorsteps for them to enjoy from their beds at 2am. Now I am alone. I will always have The Farewell Address, because you cannot break up with yourself (Damn that sounds so emotional), so chances are you'll continually hear news, because not all the songs I write are suitable for a full band. Those ideas and songs go straight into TFA's hands.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I perform on occasion at The Webster Theater in Hartford, Connecticut, as well as The Webster Underground, and other local halls and cafes. I live for performing just as much as writing, but I don't get to often at all. But if I have a crowd in front of me and one person knows the words to my songs, I am a happy guy. I've had lots of special moments. I don't play out frequently, so when I do play a show, it's always a good one.
