My name is Allen, I'm from Virginia, and I'm just putting my stuff up online to try and have some people hear it, and to get some advice.
I mostly just mess around with my guitar, through my amp, into the back of my computer, and with a few programs, mix it until I think its alright.
I mess around mostly with progressive slower things, some heavy riffs, I'm hoping to get some vocals if I can ever get the guts.

Layin in bed one night thinkin about things... Decided it would be great to just get out there and play music, not caring what people thought, not caring about the whole scene. So I got up and started writing down ideas, riffs, anything, and now I'm just putting it up here online to get some feedback. EnjoyHave you performed in front of an audience?I dont play live as much as I'd like. I'd love to get some gigs, get together with friends, and jam for people. No better feeling in the world than to have people enjoy things you create.
Your musical influences
Most recognizably TOOL and Pink Floyd. I get a lot of inspiration from softer bands like Sigur Ros, and A Perfect Circle.What equipment do you use?
Cakewalk Guitartrax and Sonic Foundry Soundforge for editing and mixing and junk.Anything else?

No wonder I couldn't tell what the vocal was saying. It was in German! Mellow, thoughtful music with passionate speaking in the background always sounds so *moving* and *important*. Kind of eerie to know it was Hitler. Very powerful effect. Reminded me of Pink Floyd at the beginning there.
Please check out my Tribute album to Harry S. Truman! I don't know if it is your favorite style or not, but I worked hundreds of hours on it. Hope you enjoy it!
