This is a collaboration between Dusty Hitchcock whose Dad grew up in Ground zero of the Dust Bowl and Ron Ryan of British Invasion fame who grew up in the aftermath of WWII. Both share a common interest in The Dust Bowl so we decided to do an album dedicated to it.
Ron Ryan has been a staple in British Rock N Roll since playing in a Skiffle band in the 50s. He has also played in bands such as "The Walkers",
"The DC5", "The Riot Squad (with Mitch Mitchell)", Nassingtn Flyers and
RR and Firends. He wrote many of the DC5s major hits including, "Any Way You Want It", "Bits and Pieces" and the megahit "Because".
Cliff "Dusty" Hitchcock and Dave McConnell have played together since the early 70s. They have performed in bands such as The Bullets, Sidewinders, Lonesome and 3. They still write songs and perform on a regular basis. With and without chickenwire.
Bruce "Twist" is out Tazmanian connection, supplying us with those extraordinary basslines and cutting edge guitar riffs. He is also our resident madman and keeps us on our toes cause we never know whats comming next.
