Just about everything in the past. Currently ambient, loungy, chillout, house, and other-worldly influences.What equipment do you use?
Deliberately little hardware. A standard computer(well, at least it was a couple years ago). But an arsenal of soft weaponry, especially the free (legal!)stuff.

I don't know if anyone will read this but The Downtempo Pilots was my dad who passed in 2016 of fronto-temporal dimensia. This is the only place where I can still find his music and be transported back to 2004, when I was about 8 years old. I remember observing his process as he composed all of these songs. each song was a very intentional passion project. We both grew up in Miami and I think it reflects well in the music. He was cool, nerdy, goofy, profound, and honorable. He specialized in electronica and acid jazz but he was a rocker at heart and guitar collector. my mom used to write poetry about his love for the sound of the guitar.
I don't know what it is. Been on soundclick now for about an hour looking for something that grabs me. This does it.....don't know why. Kudos

Very very nice work. Its the type of stuff I like to listen to on a summers evening whilst relaxing and having a smoke and you do it all so well.
