Band/artist history
The band started as Heath on bass, and Joey on drums, and Kory on guitar. We didnt have any originals, we just tried playing cover songs. We realized that Heath couldnt keep time on bass but he still tried. At that time we were called Freezer Burn. Heath and Kory went to a Skatistics, and Big D And The Kids Table show and we found a guy who could play bass, Pete. So we promoted Heath to singer. But Pete lived too far away. Emily went with us one day up to Bangor to get Heath some supplies for his bass, and she wanted to join the band. So she joined as our bassist. There was only one problem, Joey didnt own his own drum set. We borrowed 2 drum sets before he finally got one. The band decided to change the name from Freezer Burn to The Devil Plays Doctor On Tuesday one day at practice and it stuck. Emily then left the band for musical differences and then we began the search for another bassist. We found Jenna Campbell who said she'd try it out, and she decided she liked it. We then went in search of a sax player. We remembered that our pal Steve played sax so we asked him if he would like to join and after a week or 2 he decided he would.
