Ya Ya Ya Ya Ya Ya
Well this was a really old one... Tomas wrote it before The Detrimentals really came to be. We got pretty sick of it, so Adam took it, chopped it up and remade it.

Word. We are The Detrimentals bringing you punk.ska.oi straight out of Kitchener, Ontario. We've been known to bring out the rock on several occasions and try to leave you with a tune or two buzzin in your brain.
We're known for our live show, and sing a long punk, rock and ska. Check us out at www.detrimentals.ca if you want to know anything else.
Band/artist history
There is a pretty big story behind how we came to be.. this is the short one.
Tomas and Alex were jamming with a bunch of different people, under the name Means of Production. Their drummer Andrew Boyd left to play in Empire Down and they were left beatless. Me (Adam) and Tomas ran into eachother one sunny afternoon and soon after I was in the band. That was in the summer of 2001.
Soon after that, the old guitarist parted the band and it was left the three of us. We tried the old three piece game, but it wasn't really working out. Drew was the next guy to be brought in, and thats when The Detrimentals started to form. We ditched all the old Mean of Production songs and started fresh.
One or two shows later, we decided it was time to add a second guitar. Tomas was going to Ireland that summer (2002), so we were going to pick him up, teach him the stuff before he left, and then we'd be ready to go when Tomas got back. I grabbed Joel cause I knew him from school. He plays a mean guitar and and crank out harmonies in both the male and female vocal range.
When Tomas finally got back 5 months later we started to buckle down. So this was October 2002. And since then, not much has changed.
