The Detainees were formerly Mark Yanko and Kevin Dallas. We've are happy to announce that the legendary AMERICAN LESLEY JANE has not only agreed to produce our records, but also will be playing, singing and adding his own distinctive sound to our songs!Band/artist history
Mark Yanko and Kevin Dallas, along with Scott Barton, formed the band Dark Victory in the late eighties. The Detainees affords Mark and I a chance to concentrate on songs that would not fit into the Dark Victory canon.Have you performed in front of an audience?We actually do not play live. The members live in separate states and so we are a virtual band.

I can remember seeing Detainees when I was a kid. They are not my favorite band and I'm really not into all their politics but they do write some good songs. I'm proud to be the one hosting them.
