Hey. This is our band...the Dan & Mike Experience. We're a few friends who decided to get a band together. None of us are in to much new rock and stuff, we're more into the older more experimental stuff, blues, and classic rock.
Band/artist history
The unofficial formation of this band came around early 2003, after the breakup of a skiffle group consisting Mike and Dan and another friend, Mike and Dan decided to move in a different direction. Recruiting good friends Zach Long and Joe Hobaugh to accompany the other 2 members, thus creating the basic lineup for this classic rock experiment.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We haven't played live much...well...not at all, but we hope to someday.
Your musical influences
Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Cream, SRV, all the Blues Greats, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Allman Brothers, Nirvana etc. etc.
What equipment do you use?
Our recording equipment is the combination of a Mackie CFX 16 mixer and a Korg D1200 recorder.
Credit must be given to Dad, who helps us out and provides us with our recording gear (there...better?)
During our current sessions, Mike has been using a Gibson BluesHawk, and uses a Fender DeVille amp.
Dan uses a Premier artist birch series drum set with Paiste 2002 series cymbals.
Joe uses a Fender Jazz bass, Fender Strat for recording.
Zach uses a Roland RD-150 keyboard, a Fender Strat, and Fender 25R amp for recording.
