This pseudo-musical experiment represents the hidden show going on during a show, the stage crew. We make the false reality you see on stage. That is our show.
The "quote on quote" band is a live concert being performed in an alternate universe, where the crew sets up on stage the entire duration of the concert, while the band performs behind closed curtains in the dark.
Key thing is, we live in this universe, the one where the band is supposed to be out front, you know with instruments and an audience. And none of us can play industrial electro-punk thrash jazz, let alone know what that would sound like or even be played with.
The paradox:
Are we the performers?
Or are we the stage crew?
And where is the music coming from if we are both?
We perform only when the stage is dark and behind closed curtains and with an anticipating audience. When we are done performing a set or "shift", we open the curtains and turn the lights on and set up for the next song. This confuses most people, because unlike "normal" bands, we play when we are setting up, and set up when we should be playing. If it isn't obvious by now we are our own stage crew.

If a tree falls in the woods, and nobody is around to hear it, does it make a sound? If it does, and if sound is music, does this mean that the forest is therefore a band?
