The Canadian punk rock trio "The Captain's Friends" formed late in 2003 and deliver a unique combination of catchy, upbeat punk progressions, groovey slap bass breakdowns, and heart pounding double-kick patterns. Music that will get you off your ass and out on the floor.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Ry Forsythe and Matt Francis originally formed The Captain's Friends in September 2003 with drummer Adam Burrel. They wrote 5 quick songs before Ry had to leave for Ontario, he was gone for 2 months. Upon his return Adam left the band, and the aid of their friend Kirsten MacNeil was enlisted. Since then The Captain's Friends have been delivering a unique sound combining heavy punk influences, metal influenced drumming and groovy bass.
