Ghost Ghost

One-Sided One-Sided

the burne is a band deep-rooted in history and strong ties of friendship. The band first appeared on the music scene as Friday Street in 1996 with Dave Gardner and Kael Racioppa as founding members. They played competitions in venues such as the El Mocambo and always blew away their peers. Graduation from high school saw the band enter a four-year hiatus as the members pursued higher education.
Even after this absence, the burne never lost a beat, with Dave and Kael picking up right where they left off. But the break had caused some members to pursue other interests. So Dave and Kael looked back to their high school friend Dan Hobson to play bass. They set down old tracks and pumped out new ones with long jam sessions - all they needed was a singer. Many postings and disappointing auditions later the band was discouraged, until Dan heard one of his friends sing at a party - Robyn Ritchie. Her audition blew the guys away, nailing every note right off. She had the edgy rock voice and slick piano fingers they had been looking for... and the burne was borne.
