Singer/songwriter Colleen Lee writes songs of whiskey, graves, robbery and lost love. With her new band, The Beebs, we see more of her surreal and profound storytelling as she combines forces with musician/composer/producer Patrick Lee.
The Beebs’ new album, , features warm, acoustic instrumentalism and multi-part harmonies along with a number of diverse instruments (chromatic harmonica, vintage Casio children’s keyboard and a small wind organ purchased at the local Goodwill.)

Colleen Lee is sixty-three inches tall and took all the lead roles in her junior high’s plays. She has performed with with a number of Boulder-based bands, including Ordinary K and Daddy Stovepipe. She listens to Hank Williams and the Eagles of Death Metal - constantly.
Patrick Lee is seventy-five inches tall and was voted “Funniest Person” in his junior high yearbook. He was a founding member of the bands Doctor X and Analog Quartet, and he has written, recorded, and produced an enormous volume of instrumental hip-hop albums. He listens to MF Doom and Rahsaan Roland Kirk a lot.Have you performed in front of an audience?The live band is coming together nicely... gigs this summer, and tour in the Fall.
