Well here's the basics my name is JordanJay, I'm a producer and an emcee, I own and operate 3BE Studios and 3BE Music my independent record company. This Band Page is to promote and give away a brand new mixtape marking the five year anniversary of the Backlash's original release. While I was in the process of wrapping up my newest album it was taking longer than I had liked so I got the label together to create something free to give to our fans for their continued support. So if you're reading this then you're probably unfamiliar with us. So feel free to download this mixtape and give it away to anyone you think might enjoy it. Have you performed in front of an audience?
We love playing live. We're capable of holding down a single song set to a full blown 90 min show. So if you like what you hear drop us a line and lets see what magic we can make.
Your musical influences
We're a rap collective consisting of three producers, five emcees, a r&b singer and a gospel artist. We run the gambit from commercial to concious from pop to alternative. We refuse to be held captive by labels we refer to our music as Conmerical.
What equipment do you use?
MPC 2500, MPC 2000xl, Korg Triton, Yamaha Motif, E-MU MP-7 Fully Expanded, Pro-Tools, FLStudio, a table and my hands, my mouth and a pen and a pad. Basically if it makes a noise I've probably used it to make a track somewhere along the line.
