Hi, I just wanted to let you know that the Perfect Plane is THE most beautiful song I've ever heard. I listened to it a while back on the muse and downloaded it, mostly because I could relate to the lyrics. I was trying to decide if I should leave my husband and a very unhappy existence, and put this song on loop for a month straight. I did leave, moved to the big city to seek out possibilities, and downloaded it again today, because of it's beauty. Thanks for sharing it, and for inspiring me. That's what GREAT songs do. Hey guy, Thanks for your kind comments. Yeah, I was relatively happy with the way "The Stranger" turned out. It's late here, I was uploading something new for a prospective collaborator when I spotted your message. I just had a few minutes to listen to your first track or two. Good stuff, I hear a lot of power and emotion in your writing. I think it would benefit from more orchestration, more instruments, maybe some percussion, to bring out that power. Easier said than done, I know. I liked the cello on the first track. I often use cello or piano as a substitute for bass guitar. Great minds think alike, I guess. By the way, the artwork on my page is by George Herriman, creator of the comic strip "Krazy Kat". The strip goes way back to the 1910s and 20s. In my opinion (and many others) he is the greatest comic-strip artist of all time, and was certainly a major influence on "Calvin and Hobbes". George Herriman and "Krazy Kat". You should check him out.
