Electronica/indie rock from Portland, OR. Our name is "theART," not "theARTmusic."Band/artist history
theART started as me, Joseph. I wrote music on acoustic guitar, translated it into electronica, and mixed different genres of music. I started having Natalie sing with me, and later made the addition of a live drummer (Matt Szklarz) and second guitarist (Dan Bacon.)Have you performed in front of an audience?We plan to start soon.

I (Joseph) use a Gibson SG Standard and a Marshall JCM Slash for guitar. For electronics, I use an Apple MacBook Pro, Propellerhead Reason, Ableton Live, and an M-Audio Axiom keyboard.
Matt uses a custom made Allegra drum kit, and various sticks...
Dan uses a Fender American Telecaster, and a vintage MusicMan tube amp.
Natalie uses her voice, tambourines, shakers, and other percussive instruments. She also plays a little bit of keys.
