The Ability is a 3 piece band from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The band mixes gritty riffs, thought provoking lyrics, and melodies that will stick to your brain, with a live show that will have you writing home to mom, to create the hottest act this side of the globe.
We've been playing together for almost 3 years now, and have no intentions of stopping now. We've developed a great relationship with each other, and can almost anticipate each others musical "moves".
We play live all around the Oklahoma region, working on shows as far west as Albaquerque, as far north as Omaha, and as far east as York, PA.
We love gigging. It's what we live for. Any special moments? Yes. Every time we step foot on stage.
Our influences range from Alice in Chains, to Our Lady Peace, to Sound Garden, to Rage Against the Machine, to REM. Hence the gritty guitar, mixed with great melodies, and thought provoking lyrics.

I think we cought the sound of a toilet flushing on one of our recordings. It got buried in the mix, however. Does that count?
