Band/artist history
Temporal Static Studios is the name I came up with when I needed a name for my first project. Music has been a part of my life since childhood and will always be.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I used to DJ Trance, DnB, House, and some Hip-Hop back in the day, but now it's almost all studio work.
Your musical influences
I hate locking into a particular genre. I write the music that creates the scene given. So I study and enjoy Classical, Classic Rock, Alternative, Jazz, and tons of Electronica. My inspirations are Ray Charles, Peter Frampton, The Alman Brothers, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Daft Punk, Orbital, Crystal Method, Foo Fighters ... geez I could really go on forever! There are tons of other unsigned Indie artists that I enjoy to listen to as well.
What equipment do you use?
I'm am mostly digital so my weapons of choice are Ableton Live, Adobe Audition, Korg microKONTROL, Trigger Finger, Korg micro KORG, and some classic hardware synths.
Anything else?
"With all the 'cookie-cutter' Top-40 sound-a-likes out there, it's hard to hear the music through all the hype. I want to give people an experience that will reignite their love for music. Music that makes you say 'WOW!' long after the echo fades."
