" Unequivocally electrifying."
"PoiGNANTLY PENETRATiNG"
" Dark, light but nowhere in between."
" MeSMERiC and BRoKEN."
"Lyrical, Break beaty unorthodox electro."
"Where Blondie was gettin' fresh with 'Rapture' in
1981, tantriXX is gettin' fresh with 'Daddy'. Smooth
vocals over chilled raps and electro-now sounds take
you gliding through what might be your fucked up days
daze. Beats placate.
Plaintive cries and whispers of desire might mess with
your head but they'll also keep you moving so they
can't take over. If Peter Raufhofer or Jacques Lu Cont
were to get they're hands on these trax there'd be
cracks on the dancefloor from the earthquake of
stompers.
tantriXX is for the post-modern set. This krafty
beatmaker hasn't heard about the 80s revival - she's
recreating it for herself with 21st century
technology. Annie Lennox would be rasing her arms in
the air for the cover of 'Here comes the rain'.
tantriXX tears me apart like a new emotion.
Its dark like Portishead at their best, its free like
Kate Bush stoned off her tits, its Eurythmics as they
led the new romantics and its moody like punks coming
down. But ultimately its none of the above because
tantriXX & co is the new wave."
