I am a solo artist right now, I only make my music to have a release. I haven't found any other way that makes me feel better than my music. I am not searching fame or anything that takes a lot more time than the army allows me to have. If only one person in this world can relate and take something away from my lyrics I will be happy. Fame seems great and all and if some crazy spin in the earth sways me to some popular status then I wouldn't kick it away. Band/artist history
I'm a solo artist at the moment and I just take life day by day and song by song. I don't fight fate I just steer it. I live to make a positive difference in another persons life. Whether it be through a song or a string of words That is my goal as a musician and If I do end up with a band I hope we can inspire others just as my favorite bands inspired me.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I play for my friends I haven't played a live show in years. I miss playing live, it gave me a reason to go out and meet new people. I just work, come home, write a song or stare at the wall. Getting ready for shows was all about drive to practice and make up fun ways to entertain the people that showed up. I did a show where 10 people showed up and 6 of them were my friends that just sat in a corner not paying attention. But I had fun and the other 4 people enjoyed it as well.
Your musical influences
I got to meet Adam Lazzara and john nolan and tell them to their face they are my hero's when I was in Kuwait that was one of my, things to do before I die. It was Epic. Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Senses Fail, Silverstein, Chiodos, Relient K, MXPX, Fenix Tx, Blink 182, A Day To Remember. I'm a fan of all of these bands and I have pulled inspiration from them as well.
What equipment do you use?
Morgan Monroe - acoustic guitar My voice, And whatever lyrics and emotions pour out of my heart and brain.
Anything else?
You only live once and the days are only so long. My view on it is, If something or someone doesn't make you happy stop doing that something and take a break from that someone. Your happiness should always be your priority. If your not happy then that spreads like a disease to everyone around you.
