Syndicate Family first started off as Syndicate Records in 2000 on a small Japanese island named Okinawa. Skee was a US Marine stationed there and kicked Syndicate off as a mixtape label initially. He would dj mixtapes containing the worlds local music by contacting Marines from all over the world and asking them what they think are the hottest tracks from their cities. Soon the club djing picked up hot once people realized he had the tracks to brig youi back home while overseas. Popularity rose to the point where a trip to Tokyo went from a dream to a reality, "Shit, Syndicate almost stayed in Tokyo after i first wiled out there in that shit,"-Skee "... it was so sick to be able to party from 5pm in a packed club in Repungi, Tokyo where a city the size of Flint, Mi was nothing but clubs on top of clubs... so much shit to get into youd lose your mind day 1, not to forget them things dont even close down till 9-10 am!!!!!! ya, you could drunk like 4 times in one night! Yesssirr!". Unfortunately April 2002 Skee was sent back state side to San Diego Cali to where the not so unfortunate things were destined to come out the woodwork. Once back from Iraq Skee had the money to invest in top shelf dj and studio equipment all day and jumped head first into putting together the Cali shows. He printed up 20,000 flyers stating "Dj Skee presents the DETROIT style in-store open mic/freestyle battles" with a number to contact they were cut out and distributed hand to hand from San Fransisco to Santa Monica to LA to San Diego... and in came the calls. "It was right after the 8mile movie came out when i got the concept to pull off instore open mics and Freestyle bouts and told everyone this is how we did in Detroit all day... it worked and well, hell if I know if it erally was even close to what happened in the D but it sold tickets... sorry 313"-Skee. Shows like the Hollywood Sunset Blvd. came from out the box and will stay on the resume forever. After the Marines were finished with Skee in September of 2003 he came back to Michigan where Syndicate would become what it is to this day. "We started off with a local dude and put him out there to attract new artists and adventually we came to the line up we now have. I started off as a lonely Marine looking for some way to have fun off in another country to doing graphiks, recording, djing, chilling with my Fam on a daily basis... we bust out so much work it really is rediculous. I love my Fam and they love to do this shit erry day so it is what it is and itll do what itll do... Yesssirr!"-Skeezy Weezy

Tehre is a training program set up where each artist/staff has an opportunity to train the rest of the Family on what makes this individual Family. Whether its Skee training everyone to be a Dj, recording engineer, or Chris Mason and Skee teaching how to be a promoter, and to Lucky teaching what makes him VPO and CPG showing why his nick-name is the Mukrunkin Pocket Pimp.
