Hello. As Austin Powers would say, "Allow myself to introduce........myself..." My "band" is myself.
I do not play live. I am a worthless instrumentalist.
I grew up on a farm in Upstate New York, bombarded with Country & Western. I cannot stand Country & Western, but I do like to hear Johnny Cash & Hank Williams Sr. I have been a Black Sabbath fan since 1970. Heavy Metal is a great favorite, but also Harry Belefonte. Right now Mozart (not Ludwig) is my idol, (although Sousa is close) and Rossini is intriguing.
The biggest musical influence I have is the constant stream of tunes in my head.
I only use a MIDI keyboard and computer. I do not like the techno and electronica stuff.. I think good music should sound good if it is played on any instrument... and most 'techno/electronica' stuff is just sound effects - not music.
