Stylish Wes was Born and Raised in the City of St. Luis on the date of 1978. Stylish was profoundly the oldest of four children, being raised by a single parent he often had to be the man of the house, especially while living in the ghetto. From living next door to crack houses, to witnessing gunfights, Stylish has seen it all. By the influence of his peers he found it very easy to get into trouble, his convictions mirror this
But though he had so many negative things surrounding him, influencing him, his love for music ever since he was able conceive music has helped him break the barrier (the sound barrier that is).
Stylish received his first tape player when he was 12, and was heavily influenced by groups like Earth Wind and Fire. After time passed, Wes's love for music turned into a motivation, motivating him to want to produce music. He Says: At the age of 13 me and my cousin use to put on our little rap shows for my family. I would always make the beat or be on the keyboard and my cousin MD would do most of the rapping.
By the time Stylish was 15 he was already producing music, he used what ever he could to produce music since his family was on a very low budget. Through it all his motivation didn't fade, even though he had a generic setup that wasn't mainstream producers. His heart in his music he kept going strong until he realized that his music wasn't professional enough. But like they say: If music is truly in the heart, you can loose the heart, but never the music.Contact
