Drum and Belle Drum and Belle
A mixture of Aphex Twin and a band called Belle and Sabastian...I wanted to know what would happen if I mixed both genres!!!
MyDrumMachine MyDrumMachine
Except for the guitar, my vocals, and the bassline, the rest of the song was literally written on my roland groovebox 301 drum machine!!!
Losing Ma' self Losing Ma' self
My first song that includes a real official singer!!! Thanks Evie! I hope y'all like her voice!!!
Wall of Sound Wall of Sound
Somewhere between the drum & bassy beat and the deep heavy bassline, lives an eternal eighties child!!!
dirgeless dirgeless
one of my first attempts at erradict beats...dennis, the mixer, did a good job considering the dirty audio wave files I gave him!

Hello there people of the internet world!
The name of my project is St-Vn (pronounced Steven). I am the only member so I obviously write all the music by myself, except when there are gaps that I can't fill myself like live drums, pretty voices . etc., etc.,...It's a tidious task nonetheless worth it in the end, at least for me! And I hope it is just as enjoyable to you all out there!Band/artist history
Not much to tell. I've been invloved in other bands in the past ten years or so. I then took a major break in between. I decided to finally break out on my own and be my own boss. I now decide everything that has to do with the whole music writing process and gamble that it will somehow pay off!Have you performed in front of an audience? As much As I can!!!
Your musical influences
First and foremost I owe a lot to the UK bands of the early eighties, then the nineties, and now the more current ones.
Cocteau Twins, Joy Division, The Cure, The Smiths, etc. represent the eighties; Slowdive, Portishead, Blur, The Stone Roses, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, etc. represent the nineties, and although they are American, The Strokes, Interpol, The Ocean Blue, otherwise, Radiohead, Underworld, Belle and Sabastian, Ride round out the number of many bands that influence me.What equipment do you use?
Just my pals guthrie, a hollowed body epiphone, and Healsted, my fender strat...also, a fender princeton 112 amp...pretty powerful!Anything else?
All I can say is I hope you like what you hear. If you do just let me know!Contact

It is very lofty and ambient, like watching a philosopher think!
