Stu Daniels brings you original songs from a unique voice. Life experience is the basis for most my songs but I also sing about things that just go through my head. I studied classical piano as a child then became a bass player in numerous rock, funk and jazz bands. Along the way I learned a few chords and picked up a guitar when I moved over seas. In the course of three years living abroad I wrote some songs, learned to sing and play at the same time, and experienced things that gave me the perspective I live my life through now. Raised in upstate NY, went to Catholic school util age 19, played in bands since age 12, learned a few things in college(not what my parents thought college was for), tried to find myself in Portland Maine, Hyannis Massachusettes, Las Vegas Nevada, Albany New York, Boulder Colorado, Bucharest Romania. Always believed I am meant to be a musician - it is the only thing I can do 8 hours a day and never have a regret I spent that time... Listens to classic rock, funk, progressive rock, blues, reggae, classical, jazzHave you performed in front of an audience?Playing live gives me a chance to express myself in the purest way - it's my catharsis. 2009 saw me finally take the stage at a few of my own shows at the Perfect Blend and Mocha Blend Cafe. I hope to make a few more performances in the coming year.
