It's the crazy aftermath of a wreck between old style guitar rock and modern techno music.

Dreaming of Elsewhere Dreaming of Elsewhere
We all do it. This is my attempt to capture that feeling in beats and music.

I-75 at Midnight I-75 at Midnight
Have you ever driven I-75 at night south of Atlanta? This is what it would sound like if that atmosphere had a melody and backbeat.

Dark Skies Above Dark Skies Above
Light doesn't mean much at all without the contrast that darkness provides.

The Cliche of Grace (vocal mix) The Cliche of Grace (vocal mix)
One of the only vox tracks I do as st:trax. True religious devotion is confusing and cliched, but that doesn't make it any less true or real.

Show all (24)
Back in 2003, I released my first solo CD of "electronic-infused garage rock," Pop Nightmare, under the working name of st:trax and beganam currently working on the second, Dreaming and Other Diversions. What's it sound like? I like to think it sounds like modern incidental music from shows like Alias and the like, but I'm probably just dreaming. Maybe it's like the accident that would happen if the Chemical Brothers smashed their bus into Van Halen or Nirvana. Who knows? Just listen and find out for yourself.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Not for the st:trax stuff. It just doesn't lend itself to the live show.
Your musical influences
Chemical Brothers, Euphoria, Gorillaz
What equipment do you use?
Downloaded loops, my computer, various software programs, my live Tele guitar, Fender bass, Yamaha keys.
