Erick met Rick and Jared in Japan late in 1998, while in the Marine Corps. Rick and Jared had a band over there, but it was just for kicks while they were overseas. And for kicks, Erick would come to their shows drunk and trash the stage. A beautiful relationship was born. In 2000, Jared headed to Detroit, Rick to Florida, and Erick to California. By early 2002, they had all served their time and didn't know what to do with themselves. None of them had anything better going on, so Erick got a house in Riverside, Calif., and the other fellas moved out there to start up the band. After a few months of song writing and several attempts at a permanent bass player, they had added Mike and began to play. They recorded a demo in mid-2002 and began playing regularly in Riverside, Orange and L.A. counties. Most recently, the band added Frank Black on second guitar to bring more power to the live set and for inclusion on the next recording. Not bad for some loppy, drunk-ass fellas from nowhere. It is the first semi-serious music project any of them have done, but it's still all in good fun and these fellas don't ever take themselves, or anyone else, too seriously. Even their serious sounding songs are just tongue-in-cheek testiments of their own fucked up lives. If you have the chance to see them live you should. They don't have pyrotechnics and shit, but they do get drunk and stupid and play some great street rock and roll. If you ask nicely, one of them may even fight you.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes. All over Riverside, L.A. and Orange counties in bars and punk rock venues.
