Hip Hop General

Streetz is straight from the streets of the STL. Home of the Arch. I've been into music since I about 6 or seven. I played the guitar in the 7th grade. I've worked with some pretty big name people and I've never stopped going after my dreams. The dream I have is to be the biggest hip hop star there is.
Band/artist history
I started with this hip hop thing in 1994. That is when I wrote my first hip hop song. I thought it was hot as hell but some seem to differ. I then continued on and eventually started working with local labels such as Bullet Proof Record in University City, MO. and Backdoor Records in St. Louis, MO. I then recording my first track in 1999. After that I left St. Louis and moved to Cali to pursue this dream and ended up meeting big names like Chaka Kahn, Doug E. Fresh, Scarface, and others. From there I signed a non-exclusive contract with Groove Estates Production. Things went well but I was ready to do my thing so I was eventually released from the contract. Once I was released from the contract I went on to performing at numerous placesin Cali.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes, I've performed at Club Lush in Santa Monica,CA. I performed at Mt. San Antoinio College in Rancho Cucamunga,CA. and numerous other places.
Your musical influences
Oh man, first and foremost I got to give it up to the fore fathers of hip hop: Run DMC, Slick Rick, L.L. Cool J, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane. Then the new cats: Jay-Z, Nas, DMX, Biggi Smalls, Tupac, and Scarface.
What equipment do you use?
I use Cakewalk, Reason 2.5, Timeworks Mastering, T-Racks Mastering, Sound Forge 6.0, Fruity Loops 3.0, Acid 4.0, Octavia ASM condenser mic, 8 track Behringer Mixing Board, Kawai KC-20 Keyboard, and the Akai MPC 2000 xl.
Anything else?
Get at me anybody who is looking for a hot producer or hip hop artists. I'm ready and I stay focused.
